MBFA offers counseling and tutoring for those seeking admission to undergraduate or graduate programs in fine arts, architecture or interior design.

Mona Berman and Pierre Strauch work individually or jointly, focusing on the review, development, preparation and presentation of the portfolio that is key to admission in these fields.

The process is always tailored to the individual student’s needs and may include:

• Preliminary meeting to review and evaluate the existing portfolio.
• Relevant visual assignments to help fill gaps, remove weaknesses and build upon student strengths.
• Review and critique of assignments with the goal of incorporating these projects in the portfolio.
• Selection of final works for the portfolio.
• Review of page layouts, overall portfolio design and related written materials
• Final evaluation of portfolio and related materials.
